And so the lotus landed in the Pomegranates…
This little gem began with an entirely different look and feel but I forgot about the fluidity and viscosity of certain colors. Soon enough the blues were overtaken by the reds but in doing so the blue color created these fine lines and surrounded the red shapes. This resulted in defining the pomegranate shapes. By adding some yellow color in a specific locale, the lotus shape suddenly appeared so what started as an instinctual painting became a more explicit image. Enjoy the painting as you complete the sentence. And so the lotus landed in the pomegranates and…. There’s a story somewhere in there!
