Project Description
FLORAL PAINTINGS COLLECTION
Chromatic Flowers
This painting was the second study of ‘Poppies’ by the artist, and began as a plein air watercolour. It is done in a more abstract fashion using watercolour washes, backgrounds, colour lifts, colour runs, blending, gradations and drybrush techniques. As Teyjah describes it, “there are lost and found edges in this variation of the Poppies, with the flowers appearing out of fractured space.”
