Gold Slick
From the start, Teyjah created this painting with experimentation in mind. Various colours of Vitrail oil-based alkyds, both transparent and opaque, were intermingled in an attempt to control the image. When the artist liked the basic image being created she added the dark colours, and let them all bleed together. This work of art reminded her first of an oil slick on water, but the yellow colour suggested gold, hence its title.
