FLORAL PAINTINGS COLLECTION
Perfect Hibiscus I
This fractured space floral was done in acrylic, while the other was done in watercolour. The artist describes it as ‘very in your face’. This is the same ‘Perfect Hibiscus’, but with a different treatment and technique that re-interprets the painting. It was originally done in plein air, then the artist redesigned it and cut it up into fractal planes. She used the pieces to make shapes within the shape itself. This is a very different way of seeing the same flower, and the two versions of this floral represents the two sides of Teyjah’s visual mind.
