Teyjah took similar elements used in ‘Docks’ and in her words “abstracted the heck out of it” with a technique that utilizes gradation of colour. Each of the pieces in the series progresses further into the abstract and radical. There are things in the painting that were imagined as Teyjah wanted it to be fun and funky. It has some elements of the other paintings in this series, but with a unique twist to it. There are hints of Canada Place and cruise ships docking, with an aim to make interesting shapes that represent a building, “sort of”.
