NEW PAINTINGS
Primula
The first floral in a series of three triptychs that just reminds me of the beauty of colors and the sensuality of floral shapes. Many primula are cultivated and bear flowers in a wide variety of colors. It is in the same genus as primroses and cyclamens. I used the same color scheme in all three paintings with varying results but each painting contains within it some type of flowers. You can refer to “Scarlet Pimpernel” and “Posy” to complete the set.
