Secret Garden
Like a secret waiting to be told, this painting can be elusive and contains many intangible images within it. In this piece, Teyjah pushes her regular “comfort colours” to work with a different colour palette. ”I wanted to try something new with unfamiliar colours, and I also had a lot of products that I wanted to use up. This had Pebeo Moon and Prisme, which are very thick and contributed to the way this painting turned out. I cleaned out the paint cupboard and created this painting, which sparked in me an appreciation for new colours.”
