Spring Hymn

Truly an abstract, this painting was created from a still life of a beautiful floral arrangement. The artist creates different textures using mixed media, acrylic, gels, scratches and alcohol spritzes. “What I love is the way the shapes interrelate. It appears cohesive in the centre, and the pieces seems to talk to each other in this painting.” The colours in this painting are not what Teyjah usually uses, which admittedly gives interesting results with this change in palette. As she describes it: “diversity and flow makes this a piece that I am particularly proud of.”
